Pure Iberico de Bellota Fermin 4 Years is a ham that comes from purebred Iberian pig, which means they are pure Iberian mother and father, raised in freedom in the grassland and fed on herbs and acorns.

This ham is cured for 4 years, which gives it a delicate flavor, intense and persistent, causing an excellent taste in the mouth. During its manufacturing process, Pure Iberico de Bellota Fermin 4 Years passes through five stages: salting and washing, settling, drying and ripening, aging and tasting.

Considered a gourmet product, it is made in the traditional manner and guaranteeing the excellence of Fermin brand, a project that since 1956 planted a seed that has transcended time, leading that culinary virtue throughout the world, always with the respect for tradition as a founding principle.

Pure Iberico de Bellota Fermin 4 Years is made from the hind limbs of 100% Iberian pigs bred in the grasslands of La Alberca. These are medium-sized to small pigs, dark fur and almost black hooves. Its chin is very pronounced, and being reared in the open range, among oaks, they search for the food that translates into the quality of Fermin products, a pioneer in the selection of pure Iberian pig.

Considered a unique ambassador of Spain, Pure Iberico de Bellota Fermin 4 Years has an authentic taste and aroma of the best Iberian pigs reared on the open range with acorns, at more than 1500m high in the area of La Alberca, a place that gives the ham curing, during 4 years, unique organoleptic properties.
